Be a Real Hero
Think About Others
In almost all great stories, there is a hero and a villain. There is good and evil. You embrace one and reject the other.
However, have you ever stopped to think about what you really love about the hero?
A hero is not someone who simply saves or braves a harsh situation alone. What you admire about them is they do it for a bigger cause than themselves. It’s not the hero against the world. It’s what the hero is willing to do for those around them.
Moana’s actions were courageous, but the purpose and people behind those actions made her the hero. (I admit it, I just watched Moana 2 with my family.)
You aren’t Moana but the hero in your own story. But if you are going to be a hero, you can’t focus on yourself; you must focus on others. Being a hero is about serving, loving, and sacrificing.
Today is your day to be the hero. But not for yourself but for someone else.
To be a hero, you can’t focus on yourself; you must focus on others.
