Being Inspired Doesn’t Last
Being inspired is essential.
It’s that internal spark that moves you to think, feel, or act in a new way. It’s a pull, not a push. It’s a stir in your soul that creates a desire that wasn’t there before.
However, here is what most people get wrong about inspiration. They fall into the trap of believing that it will always be available. That couldn’t be further from the truth.
Naval said, “Inspiration is perishable.”
He is right, because being inspired doesn’t last. You can think of it like a banana. If you wait too long to eat it, you have to throw it away. When you are inspired by someone or something, you must act on it.
Don’t waste inspiration or assume it will be available to you tomorrow. Inspiration must be used in the present; it can’t be stored up.
The best part about being inspired is that it activates energy. It doesn’t just evoke a feeling, it inspires you to take action.
If you are struggling with inspiration, sitting idly by isn’t the answer. Instead, you have to create the conditions for it.

Get around inspiring people - The fastest way to be inspired is to get around others that inspire you.
You can’t control what inspires you, but you can control creating the conditions for that internal spark that moves you to think, feel, or act in a new way.
