Dig Deep So You Can Build Up

You can only build as high as you dig deep. It’s true with force, it’s true with buildings, it’s true with you.

However, we have people who want to be seen but haven’t built depth. Most people want to be overexposed but are underdeveloped. They want fame or fortune now, but if they got it, it would hurt them more than help them.

There is nothing wrong with the desire for success, but you must develop the depth inside to support it. The depth I speak of is character, skillset, and mindset.

• Character counts because it’s not if you will be tested it’s when you will be tested.

• Skillsets are significant because you must be able to perform the right things at just the right time under pressure.

• Mindsets matter because whether you think you can or can’t, you’re right.
