Don't Discuss People

Wisdom requires depth. There are levels to life, including what you think, talk, and speak about.

A few weeks ago, I was out to dinner with a group. As an extrovert, this was supposed to fill my tank, but it did the opposite. The reason was that most of the conversation was spent discussing and judging other people.

The next day, I came across a phenomenal quote: “Great minds discuss ideas. Average minds discuss events. Small minds discuss people.”

Let this remind you today to reject the temptation to speak about people and embrace speaking to people about ideas.

Have depth and then choose courage to use it.
