Be Yourself

By definition, you are original. There is no one else in the world that is exactly like you. Even if you have a child who looks, talks, and acts like you, you are different. No one else has your unique skills, sense of humor, or set of experiences.

Then why do you always try so hard to be someone else?

I remind myself of this simple idea: “You might as well be yourself because everyone else is already taken.”

Whatever you face today, be it authentically you. Learn from others, get better, but most importantly, be yourself.
