There is something magical about watching a sunrise. It's nature's way of saying good morning, sunshine. It's God's way of reminding you that you get to live another day.

As beautiful as that is, there are only two ways to see a sunrise live. You get up early, or you go to bed really late. Today is for the early riser, not the late-night partier.

One of my favorite authors and speakers was a man named Jim Rohn. When someone asked him why he got up so early, he gave an answer worth reading today. He said,

"If you were headed where I am headed, you would be up early too. If you were going to meet who I am going to meet, you would be up early too. If it was going to stack up for you like it's stacking up for me, you'd be getting up early."

Jim Rohn

Confident, yes. Inspiring, absolutely.

While there's nothing wrong with sleep. But when you are fired up about what you get to do, who you get to be with, and where you're going, seeing the sunrise is no problem.

The best part is that it starts with a mindset and with pursuing your purpose. It doesn't mean every day is rainbows and butterflies. Some days are hard. Some days are heavy. But you saw the sunrise anyway, because you got up early enough to catch it and to attack your day.

If you didn't see the sunrise today, how about tomorrow?

When you're fired up about where you're going, seeing the sunrise is no problem.
