The Enemies of a Quality Life
Hurry kills presence
Quality matters. It matters in the products you rely on and the food you eat. But what about the way you live?
Recently, I came across a powerful reminder that made me consider this question more deeply:
Hurry kills presence.
Worry kills peace.
Doubt kills faith.
Ego kills love.
Think about that for a moment. If you want a life of quality, these are the silent killers. They rob you of the very things that make life meaningful.
But here’s the part that struck me most: when you read it the other way, each one holds the antidote.
Love kills ego.
Faith kills doubt.
Peace kills worry.
Presence kills hurry.
That’s a reminder of how to live a quality life. When your ego rises up, choose love. When doubt creeps in, lean on faith. When worry grows, pursue peace. When life feels rushed, be where your feet are and be present.
A quality life isn’t always about how much you have or how much you accomplish. It’s often about cultivating the right conditions inside yourself so you can show up for others.
So just for today, as you go to work or move throughout your day, remember, quality matters in your life.
Presence kills hurry
