So many things you're frustrated by today are things someone else is praying for. In fact, so many things you're frustrated by today are things you used to pray for.

Author Will Guidara has this great quote:

"What a privilege to be tired from the work you used to beg the universe for. What a privilege to feel overwhelmed by growth you used to dream about. What a privilege to be challenged by a life you created on purpose. And what a privilege to outgrow things you used to settle for. "

Will Guidara

Read that again because it reframes everything.

  • That work piling up, needing extra hours to finish? A gift to someone without a job.

  • That difficult stretch with a teenage kid? A dream for a mom who can't have kids.

  • That round of golf that cost you the tournament? A highlight for someone who's never picked up a club but loves the game.

None of that makes the hard parts easy. But it changes what you're allowed to call them.

So many things in life should be met with "what a privilege" instead of "what a pain." The circumstance doesn't change. Only the lens does.

The only question that matters: which one are you choosing today?

So many things in life should be met with "what a privilege" instead of "what a pain."
