You're Not Running Away This Time
Worry doesn't help
It’s easy to run away. It’s easy to flee when things get challenging. If that wasn’t enough, your optimism makes it even easier to jump ship.
Aristotle said, “The optimistic are the most vulnerable because when the result does not turn out as expected, they run away.”
Just because you are optimistic doesn’t mean everything will work out 100% of the time. In fact, it means you know things won’t always work out, but you choose to be optimistic anyway.
Today, you aren’t running from; you are running towards. You will take on the challenges of this day with uncommon enthusiasm and optimism. Even if the outcome isn’t what you want and you are disappointed, you will not run away. You will get up and try again.
The optimistic are the most vulnerable because then the result does not turn out as expected, they run away
